Description

This is a database with articles on over 200 topics of interest to Canadian students. The articles are structured the same way:

  • Introduction: gives background information, the current research and suggestions for further reading
  • Point: this argues a particular side of the issue (e.g. "Child labour should be allowed sometimes")
  • Counterpoint: this argues the opposite side (e.g. "Child labour should be not be allowed under any circumstances")
  • Guide to critical analysis: what should you look for when evaluating resources on this topic
  • It also includes an online Canadian Oxford English Dictionary
