How to Book an Appointment

  1. Before booking, make sure you are signed into Microsoft Office 365 on your web browser.
  2. Click the red Book an Appointment button at the top of this page.
  3. Select your preferred appointment method: Virtual or In-person
  4. Choose a day and time. Days with available times will be visible in black. Days with no available times will be greyed out. If all days are grey, all sessions are full for the next two weeks. Appointments can be booked up to two weeks in advance. Check back later to book an appointment as new time slots will become available.
  5. Fill out your name, email address, and appointment details to register. You may update the email address field to an email you check regularly to receive your booking confirmation. Do not use your MyUCW Portal email to register, as it may cause errors.
  6. After you have successfully registered, you will receive a confirmation email.
  7. If you choose a virtual appointment:
    1. You will receive a link in the confirmation email to join your appointment through Microsoft Teams.
    2. Join the appointment at the scheduled time. If you do not have Microsoft Teams installed, choose the Use web browser option on your laptop/desktop computer. You will be asked if you want to share audio and video. See Technical Issues and Troubleshooting FAQs if you encounter problems.
  8. If you choose in-person: The appointment will be held in the Library, 5th Floor, East Building, Vancouver House. Please ask the library staff at the Library Circulation Desk for direction to the office where the appointment will be held.
